Ideally, we recommend you use a mixer and feed the mixer output to one or both of the Stream's inputs. This is to ensure that you have enough microphone inputs to properly capture the sound of your drumset. The typical minimum mic setup for drums usually includes dedicated mics for the bass drum and snare, with two overhead condenser microphones. In addition to giving you more inputs, many mixers offer phantom power, which you'll need for condenser overhead microphones.
Note: If using a mixer with a mono output, you can just use one input on the Stream, as the Stream sums all audio to mono anyway.
If you don't have a mixer, usually the best dual mic setup for drums is a bass drum mic paired with a single overhead. Again, remember, you'll need a phantom power source for condenser microphone overheads.
